My friend Alice asked me if I would come up with game data and tools for Café World. I have been mainly playing the virtual farm games however noticed this game was beginning to get a great deal of interest with many of my other friends so I thought I would check it out. I loaded the app and played with it for a couple of hours, it did get my interest so I decided to go ahead and add a section for it here. The Farm Addicts Domain isn't really the proper place for this however it will have to do until I come up with a better domain name and add another site to my hosting account. Then I will move this to the new domain, Farm Addicts may become a sub domain of the new one however nothing will change there.
Here is how I began the first days of the game.

My Beginning Strategy

Day 1, the first try with the game :
OK, so I jumped into this game without doing any research or knowing anything about it. It does run slow at times and there seem to be quite a few bugs and glitches at the time, however it is still in Beta.
It didn't take long to get the gerneral idea of the game. As I always say the Help Tab, forums, and just playing the game is the best way to learn. I checked out all the items available and the cookbook. Whipped up a bunch of burgers and leveled up fast. At level 2 I bought the stove and cooked more burgers on three stoves and started a roasted chicken on the fourth. After laying out a bunch of burgers and hiring someone to help I left it as was for the night. I went on the forum and started checking things out, I found a spreadsheet on google docs by Stoan in the Guides thread and used that as a reference from this point on.

Day 2, getting serious about learning this app :
The next day I started again this time making more burgers, fruit salad, and the chips and guacamole as fast as I could serve them up. At level 3 I expanded the Café to 8x9 and added more tables and chairs, a drive through door, two walls, and flooring. After I got the fruit salad loaded up I started in with some chips and guacamole, a roast, and more burgers. The first chicken still had almost 7 hours left so I just kept loading up the burgers and chips and guacamole. While food was cooking I visited some other Cafes' and sent out some neighbor invitations. After about an hour or so on the game after all the prepared food was served I took the door off and put in inventory then started some French Onion Soup so it would be ready about when the chicken was and started another chicken for the next day. By this time I had made it to level 4 and shut the place down for awhile.
When it was time for the French Onion Soup to be ready a came back in and placed it on the counter, cleaned the stove, and started more burgers. The chicken was still about 45 minutes till ready so I started loading up the burgers, rearranged the tables and chairs. While this was going on I started writing this jumping back and forth between the Café and my text editor. I made level 5 and got the message I could now cook the Spitfire Roasted Chicken which is incorrect, that is available at level 1, it should have said Tikka Masala Kabobs which did unlock for me. I got a notification on a gift sent from Head Chef Amelia there was not anything in the gift box so I would need to unload the game and come back to see what that would be, I waited until all my cooking was done. When the chicken was done I placed it on the counter and now had two stoves of burgers going. While all this is going on I get a connection error and the game reloads, it didn't process the last pan of burgers so I lost that money however gained 500 coins for the daily bonus. The gift box was still empty so now I need to click the link on the notification to see what there is for me. I waited to start two pans of burgers at the same time then click the link, there should be plenty of time to grab the goody and still get back before they are ready. It turned out to be a Soda Pop, I learned earlier from receiving gifts customers must be seated before you can collect for drinks so I left it in the gift box.
At this point it is getting late and I still don't have as many burgers on the counter that I want and I am only 27 points away from level 6, so keep cooking little fella! In the end I have 800 servings of chicken, 205 servings of French Onion Soup, and 260 burgers on the counter. I have 868 coins, made level 6 so I can buy another stove but the dish I want to cook overnight cost 400 each, I can't do both. I chose to put on two Triple Berry Cheesecakes which take 12 hours, cost 400 each, yields 550 servings and pays 1650 coins each. I'll start the day with 1100 servings of cheesecake ready to go and if Alice can keep up with the traffic all night I should be able to buy the stove the next day. I started the cheesecakes, put the door back on, and bid Alice a goodnight (and good luck).

I checked back in on the cafe on the second night when there should have been more than enough food to last the night. It seemed to go fast it may be if someone leaves before being served and after the food has been removed from the counter that this serving may be lost. I removed some chairs to see if this would help with the situation. I used the same method as removing the door and for each chair I placed in inventory it added up so those are not lost, just in storage.
I had enough coins to add another stove so I started adding more food to the counter, first with chips and guacamole then with bacon cheeseburgers. I noticed after removing the chairs my rating went from a 5.8 to a 20.5, by reducing the amount of chairs I enabled Alice to keep up with the demand. It turned out to be better to have folks come in and not have a place to sit than to come in and sit without being served in a timely manner.

Day 3. What happened overnight?
After fighting with Facebook to get into the app 8 hours later all the food was gone, however I did make over 4,000 coins overnight. There were people seated with nothing to serve, the cheesecakes still had about 30 minutes left before being ready to serve. My rating was at 21.4 when the game loaded and quickly started dropping. The first thing I did was close the place down and began making some of the quick meals, the late night purchase of the 5th stove really paid off here. I started with the chips and guacamole, a 3 minute meal and alternated with the bacon cheeseburger until the other two stoves with cheesecake finished. When the cheesecakes were done I got busy making more meals, two stoves with bacon cheeseburgers and one with chips and guacamole. It didn't take long before I made level 7, again another incorrect message for what meal unlocked for me. A quick check of the cookbook showed I could now make the jumbo shrimp cocktail, I hovered the mouse over the level bar to find I needed 600 more points to make level 8, a quick check of Stoan's spreadsheet showed I can hire one additional employee at level 8.
With 264 servings of chips and guacamole, 260 bacon cheeseburgers, and 1100 of triple berry cheesecake I'm ready to open up again. I still have a chicken and a roast cooking, the chicken has almost 5 hours before being ready and the roast has just over 1 day left. I cleaned the stoves and started 3 stoves with french onion soup gambling that the burgers and guacamole will be gone by the time the chicken is ready. My plan is to serve the soup with the chicken, start some vampire staked steak which should be ready when the roast is and see what else I can add to the counter. I added a fourth chair to see how well one server could keep up with that many seats and opened the place back up.
I reached level 8 when the chicken was served, I had been alternating between bacon cheeseburgers and chips and guacamole on the stoves. When the roast was around 24 hours from ready I started 3 stoves with the vampire stake steak hoping they will be ready closely. I used the 1 last stove to keep the counter full with bacon cheeseburgers and chips and guacamole until the french onion soup and chicken were gone. After all that I shut the place down for the night and planned the next day.

Day 4 :
I grabbed all the gifts and then went in and started jumbo shrimp on the 1 stove, ready in 30 minutes it gives me 42 CP an hour. The roast and first pan of steaks have a little over 9 hours left this should allow me to make over 300 servings of the jumbo shrimp and gain 378 CP, I'm around 500 short of making level 9 when I can add 1 more counter. My great plan is to rearrange the place to minimize the travel time to the tables for the staff, hire the additional employee, add more chairs, and add the fourth counter when I reach level 9. When the steaks and roasts are served I will open back up and use the 5 stoves to crank out as many jumbo shrimp as possible to try and reach level 10 when I can add one more stove. "The best laid plans of mice and men", we shall see how this all works out.

Well all that seemed to work out fine, I have been making money and jumping levels. While doing all that I spent time working on this site and learning more about the game. I found some good resources and a more up to date spreadsheet by Son of Richard, while referencing his sheet for level and dish information I noticed he had added new level information. Next is to try a new strategy, I am now at level 11 with 3 employees, 4 counters, and 6 stoves. Time to see what I can really accomplish.

I managed to push my Buzz Rating up to between the mid 70's and low 80's and keep it there. I am not sure if there is any relation with the types of dishes served and the rating, I will keep notes on this. It seems the higher level ratings were when I had the Pot Roast and Roasted Chicken at the same time. When I had the Vampire Staked Steaks it stayed in the mid 70's. My new strategy below may prove this over the next couple of days. I have a roast and a chicken started now. I will serve just the chicken with some other dishes on one day and start another chicken to serve with the roast the next day.

My Newest Strategy

The plan is to start a Homestyle Pot Roast to be ready in two days, the next day start a Spitfire Roasted Chicken to be ready when the roast is, this will give me 1950 servings worth 8,950 in coins. The other two counters will have French Onion Soup and the Chunk Fruit Salad. If it all works out I should make a bunch of coins and jump a couple of levels that day.

I think my new strategy is working out well day 5 and 6 went well, check out my latest buzz rating.
buzz rating of 105.0
7 days on the game, level 13, I must be doing something right.

Day 8 the start of a new week, made level 15, 7 stoves, 4 counters, 4 employees, expanded to 9x11, added tables and chairs, have over 40,000 in coins, and opened the place with over 6,000 meals ready to serve. I have some 1 day dishes on the stove, plan to start some 12hr dishes, then just let the place run all night. The next morning I will serve the 12hr dishes to the counter, start some 8 hr ones and let it idle until the dinner hour. I think I have this game figured out.
