I have been collecting and researching FarmVille game data since first beginning to play. I began playing just a couple of months after the game was added to Facebook. I have compiled a master spreadsheet which is used for the FarmVille Farm Manager, the database which drives most of this site, the calculators, and these pages. The use of a database enables me to keep the data up to date and accurate as possible.

New Players

You start with a 12x12 land size with one field each of eggplant and strawberry ready for harvest. One field each of eggplant and strawberry at 50% and 57% ready, and two plowed fields.
You begin the game at Level 1 with 0 Experience Points (XP) and 0 Coins. You gain coins from harvesting crops and animals and XP by plowing, planting, and purchases. Each player is rewarded with 1 Farm Cash (FC) for each level achieved in the game. Farm Cash and Coins may also be purchased from the game using real money. There are many stratagies for quickly rising in levels, the most common being using Farm Cash purchases to gain points.

In the early days of the game players at Level 1 were limited to a few seeds, trees, animals, buildings, decorations, and gifts available. Now most Farm Cash items and adoptable animals are available at level 1 making the list much longer. With the Mystery Themes, Limited Edition Themes, and other changes in the game the amount and items will continually change. You may also receive gifts not available at level 1 from friends and neighbors who are at higher levels.

Ribbons and Awards

Achievement Ribbons were released the first week of August 2009. Since then there have been several more added and one (Shutterbug) removed, there are currently 37. When you receive a ribbon you also get an award for the accomplishment. If you post the announcement on your Facebook wall your friends will be able to collect a bonus from the post.

Co-Op Farming Data

Co-op farming was introduced April 2, 2010. Players level 20 and above could begin a task. On May 24, 2010 new levels were assigned to the missions for starting and joining. When a task is started the player posts to recruit neighbor to participate, players may participate completeing tasks at level 1. There are three levels of achievement for each task, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each level has a time constraint to complete, the sooner one is completed the higher the rewards. There are also ribbons which can only be achieved with co-op farming, see the ribbons table for more on those. When the Gold level is completed you also receive a limited edition gift.

On December 3 2010 FarmVille introduced a new feature, Quests, to the game. The first of the Quests is the Winter Wonderland Quest which requires the use of the Winter Workshop Functional Building. There are four phases to the quest, upon completion of each phase the player is given a reward from the game and can share an item with friends by posting a feed on their wall.
Each new quest has different requirements and amounts of phases to complete. The latest is the "Love is in the Air" quest for Valentines 2011 which was released with the Valentines Mailbox and Valentines. Cupid's Castle is the first item added which is a constructable and functional building used for the Valentines quests. Valentines are harvested from Cupid's Castle and stored in the Valentines Mailbox. The buildings were gifted to players on the introduction of the new theme or are available in the Market for 5 coins.

Most gift items can be can be sent from the FarmVille Gift page. Some gifts are only available on the farmville.com site, those gifts will appear on the gifting page for the game however you must go to the site to send the gift. You can also ask your friends to send a gift you want from the Wish List page.

There are 39 items to send as gifts. Players do not see the same Gift Page since some items are chosen randomly to display. Only iPhone players can send some application exclusive items. The most items I have seen displayed on the Gift Page is 45.

Mystery Eggs were added to the game on November 12, 2009 along with the Brown, Black, and Golden Chickens. The Cornish and Rhode Island Red Chickens were added on May 14, 2010 followed by the Rainbow Chicken added on September 14, 2010.
Mystery Eggs are found on Facebook Wall posts by your friends and by feeding neighbors chickens in the coop. The eggs will appear in your Gift Box and will be opened when a player selects the gift.
Collectables and Consumables can not be placed on the farm and therefore have no size.

June 24th. I have completed the latest update the Production Planner. Many of the product values for units produced and batch sell price were adjusted and I discovered a new product that was added. The new version is now available for download. The database is updated with the new data, I am working on the Farm Manager update and then will catch the FarmVille section back up to date.

July 8th. update added two new production facilities and two service facilities.

June 17th. The latest update to the game. New facilities, products, game levels and items. I will be updating the database with the new data soon.

April 7th. More items added to the English Countryside theme. The English Countryside page has been updated with new information.

March 25th. More items added to the English Countryside theme and items which are exclusive to the new farm. As usual with Zynga and new additions I expect to see rapid additions to the new farm items.

March 17th. More St. Patricks Day items added.
